The RoleWe're looking for a Merchandising Admin Assistant (MAA) to support the day to day operations of our growing merchandising function. This is a detail driven, hands on role focused on ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting reporting and trading activities. Reporting into the Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in keeping the engine room of the business running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, analytical, and eager to build a career in merchandising within a fast paced, scaling environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Support store and online allocations, ensuring stock is distributed accurately and in line with trading needs
- Manage inter branch transfers to optimise stock availability across stores
- Act as a key point of contact for store queries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain and update merchandising systems, ensuring stock and data accuracy at all times
- Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, pulling and organising data for the Merchandiser
- Monitor stock levels and highlight potential issues such as low availability or overstock
- Support intake processes, including purchase order management and delivery tracking
- Help prepare trading packs and ad hoc analysis to support decision making
- Work closely with Retail and E commerce teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandising plans
- Previous experience in an administrative or entry level merchandising role (fashion, jewellery, or retail preferred)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Confident working with Excel and data systems
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams
- Interest in merchandising and a desire to develop within the function
