JOB PURPOSEWe are seeking an experienced Men's Leather Goods Merchandiser to own and drive our product categories end-to-end. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our product engine, responsible for leading the full merchandising lifecycle from initial brief through to market launch and final exit.
The Merchandiser will play a critical part in shaping our Men's Leather Goods strategy, collaborating closely with Design, Sourcing, Product Development, and Planning to deliver exceptional product that resonates with our customers globally.
RESPONSIBILITIESCategory Ownership & Strategy
- Drive the full product lifecycle, from concept and range planning through to exit management.
- Develop, define, and present the seasonal range plan including pricing architecture, carry-over strategy, and competitive benchmarking.
- Strategically own and manage raw material bookings, ensuring accurate system updates, tracking, and concise executive-level summaries.
Trading & Performance Management
- Analyse weekly and daily performance to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Partner closely with Planning to drive timely commercial actions.
- Lead delist and markdown recommendations, presenting clear proposals to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead collaboration across Sourcing, Design, Product Development, and Planning teams, including ownership of critical cross-functional meetings.
- Integrate regional and market feedback into data-driven product decisions.
- Influence and align stakeholders at multiple levels across the organisation.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure maximum accuracy across all tasks, reporting, and PLM data.
- Deliver projects end-to-end with strong execution and timely delivery.
- Support market training initiatives and operational processes to maximise team efficiency.
- Work closely with the Assistant Merchandiser to support their growth, performance, and progression.
- Provide clear guidance, and support across day-to-day activities.
- Proven experience in luxury fashion merchandising, ideally within Men's.
- Strong market awareness and heightened product sensitivity.
- Commercial thinker with exceptional analytical ability and sound judgement.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data at pace.
- Highly proactive, accountable, and action-oriented.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Comfortable at presenting and driving discussions with cross functional teams.
- Collaborative, organised, and able to operate with clarity in a fast-moving environment.
