About the Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to take the reins on a flagship £230 million data centre build in the London Docklands. This is a major, technically complex project with a 3-year build programme - the perfect challenge for a confident leader with deep MEP knowledge. With the company's strong track record of promoting from within, this is a genuine long-term opportunity to grow within one of the most respected main contractors in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee all MEP works across the project - planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish
  • Drive programme performance, monitor costs, and identify efficiencies across resource planning and delivery
  • Lead and support all MEP contractors and supply chain partners, ensuring smooth coordination and quality standards
  • Chair regular coordination meetings to keep momentum and alignment across all stakeholders
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure technical compliance to spec, drawings, and best practice
  • Tackle issues head-on, resolving challenges quickly and professionally across the project lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, progress updates, and reporting for internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Work closely with design teams, engineers, and consultants to meet project milestones and overcome technical hurdles
  • Proactively manage risk and drive strategies to minimise impact on time and cost

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or similar
  • Strong experience in a similar MEP PM role, ideally with data centres or large technical builds
  • A solid grasp of MEP systems, project sequencing, and site execution
  • Confident communicator with proven leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Knowledge of project management tools/software
  • PMP or equivalent project certification (desirable but not essential)

Why Join?

  • Be part of a high-profile, long-term £230M build
  • Company known for internal promotion and career progression
  • Competitive salary £65K - £75K + car allowance
  • Work with a supportive, high-performing team in one of the UK's fastest-growing sectors
