Mentoring and Advocacy Practitioner

We are looking for people who are approachable, motivated and able to build trusting relationships with young people, with the skills and experience to provide effective mentoring and advocacy.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly and committed team and contribute to a well-established service that has supported young people in Sutton for many years. Do you have experience working with young people and all the complexities that this brings?
Volunteer Centre Sutton is looking for two enthusiastic and committed Mentoring and Advocacy Practitioners to join our established MAPS (Mentoring, Advocacy and Peer Support) team.
We have two vacancies: one full-time post (36 hours per week) and one part-time post (24 hours per week).
MAPS supports children and young people who may be experiencing challenges in their lives, helping them to build confidence, develop positive relationships and have their voices heard. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with young people, alongside volunteer mentors, families and partner organisations, making a real difference to their lives in a flexible environment.
