Ready to use your Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) skills to make a real difference? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at WithYou, in this key role for our service.

Main duties of the job

This is more than just a job; it's a chance to apply your expertise directly to those who need it most. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside Recovery Workers to deliver impactful, psychologically-informed interventions. In this role, you will:

  • Provide crucial, evidence-based support - deliver wellbeing-focused interventions to service users with complex mental health presentations, contributing to recovery plans focusing on managing emotions, improving sleep, and building confidence.
  • Be a key part of the team - work closely with your line manager, supervisor, and the drug and alcohol team, engaging with service users and their families to develop strengths-based, outcome-focused care plans.
  • Grow your skills with expert guidance - receive regular supervision from a qualified professional (e.g., HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or BABCP-accredited CBT therapist) to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively - liaise with other health providers to ensure seamless continuity of care and communicate sensitive information to promote positive outcomes for clients.
About us

Our name reflects who we are - a positive place where people can progress, connect with others and get friendly, expert help in a way that's right for them. Our staff team changes lives. If you're passionate about helping people get the support they need for issues with drugs, alcohol and mental health, we'd love to hear from you.
