Mencap Volunteer Visitor (Having Fun in Honiton)

We support a fun loving chap in his 50s located in Honiton who would love for someone to take him out just 6 times a year. Responsibilities include attending cinema, walks, football or rugby matches, lunch outings (he loves a curry), and other activities you may think of. Your admission to matches, films etc. will be covered as a carer admission. Travel expenses would also be reimbursed. He lives close to the train station. You do not need experience with learning disabilities for this role, just a friendly personality!

• Pruning and cutting back shrubs
• Creating flower beds
• Cutting the grass, weeding, and potting planters
• Having conversations around the next project the people we support would like to see in their gardens

£25,577 per annum, pro rata + excellent benefits
