Salary: £15 - £17 p/h (DOE) PAYE
Job Type: Part-Time, 2 Days per Week

The RoleAs a Membership & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the association, ensuring members receive excellent support while helping to increase engagement, membership growth, and industry participation.
This is a varied and rewarding position combining administration, relationship management, event coordination, communications, and business development. It would suit someone who enjoys building professional relationships, taking ownership of projects, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities Membership Management- Maintain accurate membership records and manage renewal processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for member enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective members.
- Support initiatives aimed at growing membership and increasing member engagement.
- Coordinate online events, webinars, and member engagement activities.
- Research and identify relevant speakers and industry topics.
- Manage event communications, registrations, and follow-up activities.
- Arrange committee meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
- Support regular member communications and updates.
- Identify and engage with potential industry partners, suppliers, and sponsors.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders to support membership growth.
- Assist with initiatives designed to increase engagement and commercial opportunities. Administration & Communications
- Update website content, news articles, and member information.
- Monitor industry developments and identify topics relevant to members.
- Support the delivery of member services and communications.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the smooth administration of the association.
- Previous experience within membership services, events, legal, recruitment is ideal.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence interacting with professionals and senior stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and personable. You will enjoy building relationships, managing varied workloads, and working collaboratively to deliver an excellent experience for members and stakeholders. You will be comfortable taking ownership of projects and confident communicating with individuals at all levels.
