MEICA Commissioning Engineer 
Contract 6 Months Minimum
North West (Wastewater Treatment Sites) Outside IR35
We're looking for experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineers to support wastewater treatment projects across the North West, working on behalf of a major utilities engineering provider.

- Lead commissioning activities on wastewater treatment projects (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control & automation)
- Ensure systems, plant and equipment operate to design intent and technical specifications
- Manage FAT/SAT, testing, verification, and handover processes
- Produce commissioning plans, test scripts, and associated documentation
- Coordinate with project engineers, site managers, OEMs, and client representatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
You'll be engaged by a well-established engineering contractor delivering major utilities infrastructure projects across the UK. They support long-term frameworks for leading water and wastewater providers, with a strong reputation for technical delivery.
What you'll need- Proven experience as a MEICA Commissioning Engineer
- Background in wastewater treatment or broader water utilities
- Competence across mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems
- Ability to develop and manage commissioning documentation
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regional sites
