Band 5 - £33,247 - £41,424 per annum. Distant Islands Allowance of £1,408 per annum. 37 hours per week. Permanent post. NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce.
Medical Ward 2 is an acute general ward with 22 funded beds and a designated Stroke Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of professional nursing care, meeting the individual needs of the patient population.
- Accountable for the delivery of care and assessment of care needs.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care.
- Facilitation and support of staff development in the hospital.
- Experience of nursing patients in an acute setting - essential.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development - essential.
Requirements: NMC registered, from General Nursing background.
Additional Information: The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
