Job Description

Are you a dedicated support professional with a background in medical care? This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new school and play a vital role in shaping its culture from the ground up.

The Supply Register is a proud partner withRugeley John Taylor School, which is currently a small, close-knit community of 150 Year 7 pupils. We are looking for a compassionate and medically-experienced individual to provide high-level support for students with complex physical and educational needs.

The Role
  • Schedule: 5 days per week.

  • Start Date: Immediately following the upcoming half-term.

  • Focus: Providing dedicated 1-on-1 and small-group support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Specific Care Requirements

You will be a key point of contact and support for pupils with specific medical requirements, including:

  • Supporting a pupil with complex diabetes management (high-needs).

  • Supporting a pupil with a tracheostomy.

  • Working alongside pupils with current EHCPs.

About You

We are looking for someone who balances clinical confidence with a passion for education.

  • Medical Background: Ideally, you have experience in a Residential School or a clinical setting where you've managed complex physical needs.

  • School Experience: You must have a proven track record of supporting children within an educational environment.

  • The Right Fit: You are adaptable, proactive, and ready to grow with a new school.
