Medical Technologist (MT), Generalist, Per Diem

Performs tests, confirms accuracy of results and reports laboratory findings to the Pathologists and other Clinicians. Chemistry is the section for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests, confirm accuracy of results, and report laboratory findings to Pathologists and other Clinicians.
• Work within the Chemistry section for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science required.
• Must meet CLIA requirements to perform high complexity testing; college transcripts may be requested.
• ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation is preferred within 2 years of hire. Once certified, promoted to Medical Laboratory Scientist 2.
• Preferred: Successful completion of a clinical laboratory medicine rotation, clinical practicum, or equivalent clinical laboratory experience.

Education & Experience

• Required Work Experience: Experience not required but preferred.

Pay

The pay range listed for this position is $36.00 - $48.45 per hour. The base hourly wage may vary based on factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate due to shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable by law.
