Medical sessions for bus companies in South Wales

Job Overview

We are looking for one or more doctors to help us with regular occupational health sessions for bus companies in South Wales. The sessions are at the clients' premises and generally last for around five hours. We currently have fortnightly sessions in Cwbran, Merthyr Tydfil, and Swansea.

Responsibilities

• Attend occupational health sessions at client premises, typically lasting around five hours.
• Conduct management referrals and DVLA licence renewal medicals.
• Assess employees who are off sick or experiencing health problems that affect their work and provide information on expected return to work and any supportive measures.

Qualifications

No occupational health experience is required; extensive training and support are provided. Reports are reviewed by another experienced doctor before dispatch.

Compensation & Working Conditions

Self employed role with flexibility to accept or decline specific weeks. Pay is £88 per hour, exclusive of medical indemnity costs.
