Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and professional Night Telephonist/Receptionist to undertake a 9-hour night shift, providing an effective first point of contact and delivering a high standard of communication and administrative support. Duties include managing incoming calls, monitoring alarm systems, instigating emergency procedures in accordance with established protocols, coordinating the Out of Hours (OOH) GP service, and contacting on-call staff as required.
The post holder must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, as shift days and times may be subject to change to meet the needs of the service, and there is a requirement to undertake additional hours on a regular basis to cover colleagues' absences. Applicants should be computer literate, capable of working independently, and able to exercise sound judgement while remaining composed in urgent or unexpected situations.
