Job Description

My Client based BT15 area of Belfast requires a Part-time Medical Receptionist with some admin duties. This is a temporary post with the view to becoming permanent.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on telephone, making, cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services
  • Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual.
  • Typing letters, memos referrals, and confidential reports.
  • Sorting and distribution of post
  • Collect and collate data as and when required.
  • Liaise with other disciplines, outsides agencies and departments, in a helpful and professional manner.

Essential Criteria

  • 4 GCSE's including English & Maths (Grade A-C)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
  • Fully computer literate
  • Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous NHS Experience

Hours 16 per week, Tues, & Thurs 8.30am - 5pm
