What you'll doIn the capacity of Medical Negligence Solicitor based in Bristol, you will:
- Independently manage a varied caseload comprising complex and high-value medical negligence claims from initial instruction through to resolution or trial, ensuring each client receives bespoke support throughout their engagement.
- Provide authoritative legal counsel on matters encompassing a wide array of clinical areas including obstetric injuries, delayed diagnoses (such as meningitis), fatal claims, inquests, anaesthetic errors, neurosurgical complications, cardiac issues, oncology disputes, and psychiatric care.
- Offer clear and compassionate legal guidance to clients at every juncture of their claim process so they remain informed, reassured, and empowered during periods of distress.
- Secure early interim payments where feasible to facilitate rehabilitation and address urgent care requirements for clients affected by serious injury or illness.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to ensure seamless service delivery while sharing knowledge regarding best practices within the field of clinical negligence.
- Support junior members of the team by providing considered guidance on case management strategies and contributing actively to ongoing departmental training sessions.
- Engage in business development activities by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying new avenues for growth within the medical negligence practice area.
