ROLE SUMMARYThis position is for a Medical Director within the PD-1/VEGF bispecific program. This individual contributor role will be responsible for supporting late stage clinical trials. Prior experience in clinical trials and development programs is preferred.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Study-level Clinical Development Leadership: Collaborate with Clinical Scientists to provide clinical leadership across 2-3 study teams that is scientifically rigorous and aligns with company objectives.
- Conduct medical monitoring activities including eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
- Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
- Serve as the point of contact for clinical issues between the study team, investigators, ethics committees, steering committees, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and contribute to development and maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents, in collaboration with Clinical Scientist and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Guidance, Clinical Insights & Interpretation: Collaborate with Clinical Scientists to review and interpret clinical data, identify key findings and implications, and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of clinical expertise by staying abreast of developments, literature, and guidelines to advise on and drive current and future clinical development plans.
- Medical degree with relevant clinical or industry experience (typically 4+ years).
- 2-5 years industry experience.
Board certified/eligible in oncology or equivalent. Demonstrates breadth of diverse leadership experiences including influencing and collaborating with peers, coaching others, and guiding work to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Relocation support may be available. Work Location: Hybrid.
Compensation: The annual base salary ranges from $226,300 to $377,100. Eligible for Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a target bonus of 25% of base salary and eligibility to participate in long-term incentives. Benefits include 401(k) with company matching, retirement contributions, paid vacation/holiday/personal days, parental and medical leave, and comprehensive health coverage. Salary ranges may vary by location.
