Medical Director - Churchland Animal Hospital

Churchland Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead our established, multi doctor small animal practice in Portsmouth, VA (Hampton Roads area).

Schedule & Experience

• Full time, flexible 4 5 day work week
• No on call or emergency coverage
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Prior leadership experience a plus (but not required)
• Virginia license required (or eligible)

You'll partner closely with our experienced associate veterinarians and hospital leadership team to guide medical standards, mentor doctors, and help drive continued growth and excellence within the practice.

Leadership & Clinical Role

• Upholding and advancing standards of care
• Mentoring and developing associate DVMs
• Supporting case collaboration and medical decision making
• Partnering on hospital growth initiatives and team development
