Media Operations Manager

We are seeking a talented and motivated media operations manager to join our team in London, focusing on the global market. This role reports directly to the VP of media operations and requires a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives. You'll combine hands-on programmatic expertise with strategic thinking, working across DSPs, curation platforms, and analytics tools to deliver measurable results.

The media operations manager will be involved in and own the launch of SeenThis's curated marketplace offering as well as growing and managing their newly established adaptive outcomes media offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of programmatic advertising campaigns, including setup, execution, optimisation, and reporting. In addition to campaign operations, the role involves direct client engagement, strategic pricing discussions, active participation in product development initiatives, and ownership of our relationships with third party providers such as SSP's, DSP's and data providers.

About the role

Campaign management & planning

  • Provide detailed activation plans for both managed service buys and curated marketplace buys.

  • Set up, launch, and manage programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple DSPs and our curation partner.

  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance in real time, adjusting bids, targeting, and creative to maximise ROI and meet client & team KPIs.

  • Translate client goals into precise programmatic strategies - from data segmentation and bidding logic to platform-specific activation.

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities, providing actionable insights to clients and stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve campaign issues, ensuring smooth delivery and full budget utilisation.

Client, team & partner engagement

  • Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, educating them on platform features, best practices, and industry trends.

  • Lead client-facing conversations, presenting campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations.

  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to develop and execute client strategies.

  • Own and manage relationships with our technical partners such as data providers, curation providers, and SSP/DSPs, developing commercial strategies and products with them to service the SeenThis commercial team.

  • Work closely with technical partners to design and implement data-driven products, custom deals, and integration solutions.

Strategic and commercial activities

  • Participate in pricing and yield management discussions, ensuring competitive and profitable campaign structures.

  • Contribute to product development by providing feedback on platform features, user experience, and market needs.

  • Explore and expand outcome-based trading approaches (CPC, CPA, ROAS) to meet evolving client objectives.

  • Support the commercial team in hitting revenue and profit targets of all activations.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in programmatic advertising.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in programmatic trading, campaign management, or digital media buying in DSPs (Google DV360 & Amazon DSP preferred but not essential).

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics or similar).

  • Knowledge of RTB, audience targeting, and campaign optimisation techniques.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in outcome-based trading (CPC, CPA, ROAS).

  • Familiarity with ad fraud prevention, brand safety, and audience targeting tools.

  • Familiarity with SSP and deal ID curation.

  • Relevant certifications in programmatic advertising or digital marketing.
