Job Description
The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical building services works on site. You will take full responsibility for the safe, compliant and programme-driven installation of HVAC, pipework, plantroom and public health systems, ensuring quality and commercial targets are achieved.

What you will be doing
  • Manage all on-site mechanical activities and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, in line with RAMS and company procedures
  • Oversee installation of HVAC, LTHW/CHW, plantrooms, ventilation and public health systems
  • Monitor quality, inspections, testing and commissioning processes
  • Coordinate with other trades to maintain programme and avoid clashes
  • Report progress, manage risks and support commercial control of mechanical packages
  • Maintain strong client and supply chain relationships
What we will need from you
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisor with a main contractor
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services installations
  • Ability to drive programme, quality and health & safety performance on site
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of NEC/JCT contracts
  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS Card (essential)
  • Mechanical Engineering / Building Services qualification or trade background (desirable)
