Job Description
Mechanical Site Engineer

Location: Tottenham (with nationwide travel)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (including overtime premium) + benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to join a fast-paced site-based team within a market-leading pumping solutions business.

Working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of pumps and associated equipment across customer sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend nationwide installations and breakdowns when required
  • Service, repair, and assemble pumps and pumping equipment
  • Ensure call-out and site procedures are followed at all times
  • Complete site reports after each visit, obtain customer signatures, and submit promptly
  • Act as a professional ambassador, promoting products and services
  • Ensure company vehicle, tools, and van stock are maintained
  • Follow all company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Observe and maintain Health & Safety standards
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the business
Knowledge & Experience
  • Knowledge of the pumping or mechanical engineering industry
  • Experience in a similar mechanical, site engineering, or maintenance role
  • Pump-related experience is desirable
Qualifications
  • Mechanical qualification (Essential)
  • CSCS (Essential)
  • Confined Space Training (Desirable)
  • First Aid (Desirable)
  • SSSTS (Desirable)

Training can be provided if not already held.
