Description

The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Role Overview

The position will be a full time role based at our new and developing offices and off site facilities in Dundalk. The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and site delivery/completion of mechanical installations across our data centre projects within the UK/Ireland region. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and project management expertise to ensure successful delivery of capital and improvement projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

What You'll be Doing

Responsible for planning and executing mechanical projects by developing and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets for on site installations and upgrades, ensuring alignment with plant operations and business objectives. Provides technical oversight, including input into equipment selection, system design, and layout, as well as reviewing and approving engineering drawings and vendor documentation, while ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards. Works closely with procurement and supply chain teams to source equipment and services, prepare technical specifications and tender documents, evaluate bids, and monitor supplier performance and project spend. Manages subcontractors and third party partners, ensuring effective coordination, strong performance in safety and quality, and timely delivery, while resolving interface issues and leading progress meetings and inspections. Monitors project costs, schedules, and risks, implementing mitigation strategies and maintaining high quality standards across all deliverables. Collaborates with cross functional teams including operations, maintenance, production, EHS, and quality to support seamless integration and continuous improvement. Ensures full compliance with relevant codes and standards and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, test records, change orders, and commissioning reports.
