We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a large Data Centre project based in Milan. In this role you will ensure that complex construction projects run smoothly from concept to installation. You'll play a key part in keeping projects aligned, buildable and on track, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to prevent issues before they arise and keep progress moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design documents and ensure buildable, compliant drawings
• Support project handovers, progress reporting, and technical reviews
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Manage RFIs, procurement tracking, and equipment deliveries
• Monitor project costs, variations, and commercial performance
• Collaborate with designers, contractors, and site teams

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience in construction or data centre projects
• Strong technical drawing and coordination skills
• Commercial awareness and problem solving ability
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable in a fast paced, site based role
