Mechanical Product Engineer (m/f/d)

For our client, a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for an Mechanical Product Engineer (m/w/d)/in Böblingen.

Your tasks:

• As part of the SoC Delivery team you drive our client towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment
• Support change management to our external supply chain including mechanical CAD drawing updates
• Support of mechanical engineering team on different ongoing projects
• Actively drive supply chain requirements into hardware to achieve efficient and predictable manufacturability by utilizing the capabilities of our partners
• Manage quality, product changes and technical supply chain processes of products to constantly fulfil customer and business requirements
• Aspects to consider are manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives to drive quality, cost, and supply metrics towards defined goals
• Work closely with our contract manufacturers, our Development and Supply Chain teams in a very international environment
• 10% travel required (Germany, Europe)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master's degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Knowledge of mechanical product development with CAD tool support
• Broad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high knowledge of mechanical high-level assemblies
• Proactive, flexible, and innovative mindset with analytical problem-solving skills, demonstrating strong ownership
• Good Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in English and German
