Job Description

Dalkia UK is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Minor Works team on the Houses of Parliament account.

Purpose of the Role:

To supervise Mechanical Minor Works, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our client, in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Delivery: Support the team to meet and exceed contractual KPIs and SLAs in small works, statutory compliance, remedial works, and fault repairs.
  2. Reporting: Ensure all records are completed and control additional costs such as overtime, travel, and allowances.
  3. Contract Opportunities: Understand client needs, identify additional services, and provide quotes.
  4. Subcontractors and Suppliers: Monitor work, ensure value for money, and liaise with all parties.
  5. Invoicing: Capture chargeable works and verify invoices.
  6. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and resolve operational issues.
  7. Call Out and Cover: Support emergency call-outs and maintain division coverage.
  8. Helpdesk: Coordinate with schedulers and helpdesk for task allocation.
  9. Communication: Share updates regularly with team, client, and end users.
  10. QSHE: Adhere to health & safety regulations and report hazards.
  11. Learning & Development: Provide ongoing team development and technical training.
  12. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by the Contract Manager.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Overtime available

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant experience in M&E field
  • Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification or equivalent
  • Customer-facing or service provider experience
  • Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
