Responsibilities

  • Identify potential breakdown risks proactively and support root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Complete all work in line with company safety policies and relevant regulations.
  • Support production, new product development, and trial activity from a maintenance perspective.
  • Carry out equipment modifications and put forward ideas that improve efficiency and performance.
  • Get involved in continuous improvement projects across the site.
  • Help train and upskill other members of the engineering and maintenance team.
  • Take part in cross-functional project work as required.
  • Keep departmental budget in mind when planning and carrying out maintenance tasks.

Criteria

  • A recognised trade qualification and/or relevant engineering diploma.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Practical, hands-on experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • An understanding of production processes and how maintenance supports them.
  • Strong technical ability paired with good problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong overall PC competency.

Reward
This role offers a negotiable salary depending on experience, along with the opportunity to join a stable, well-established site with a genuine focus on developing its people. For the right candidate, this is a strong platform to build a long-term career in maintenance engineering within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
