Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a market leading manufacturing client who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) to join their well established team.Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: BarnsleySalary: £35,000- £37,787Monday to Thursday - 6.30am till 2.30pm, Friday- 6.30am till 12pmIndustry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with the maintenance plan

• Deliver work to a high standard, identifying follow-up tasks where required

• Have a continuous improvement focus

• Respond promptly to hazards flagged by staff

• Carry out weekly PPMs

• General site maintenance duties

Requirements:

• City and Guilds Mechanical ONC/BTEC or equivalent/ Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent

• Must have experience within a manufacturing environment previously

• At least 3 years' experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role
