Job Description- Fault finding and maintaining mechanical assets including pumps, gearboxes, valves, etc
- Carry out inspections and condition-based monitoring
- Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices To ensure compliance with the pressure regulations and lifting gear inspection requirements
- Assisting in plant developments and projects
- Supervising and setting to work on-site contractors
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records on the site CMMS
- Assist in outage planning, scheduling, and coordination
- To ensure the availability of plant spares
- Carry out preventative maintenance in line with scheduled PPM's Provide reactive maintenance duties on the plant in a timely manner to meet the needs of the Operation's requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical skills with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in engineering environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Competitive salary of £48000
- Working days, M-F with 1in4 on call + allowances
- Permanent full-time position based in Lanark.
