Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 + 15% Shift Allowance

CV Screen is recruiting for aMechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role is located just outside Cardiff and fantastic opportunities for training and development exist for the right candidate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Respond to machine breakdowns
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Work with production and engineering teams.
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Happy to work shifts
  
  

LOCATION

Cardiff - Commutable from nearby locations such as Caerphilly, Newport and Bridgend.
