£18 per hour DOE + Overtime 40 hours per week Ipswich

Our client, based in Ipswich, is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembler to join their team, building and assembling bespoke machinery from start to finish.

The Role

• Building and assembling bespoke machinery
• Working from engineering drawings
• Fitting mechanical components and making adjustments where needed
• Using a range of hand and power tools
• Ensuring machinery is assembled accurately and to a high standard
• Working independently and as part of a team

About You

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or similar
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm
• £18 per hour, depending on experience + overtime

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building machinery and seeing a project come together from individual components to a finished machine.
