A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer to join their Life Sciences team in Limerick, working on a major pharmaceutical project.

The Mechanical Engineer / Building Services Engineer will lead the technical delivery of mechanical and MEP services, working closely with engineering, construction, commissioning and client teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead mechanical and MEP design, installation, commissioning and handover
- Coordinate MEP services with structural, architectural and civil works
- Manage BIM and design coordination
- Monitor technical delivery, programme, quality and compliance
- Provide technical support and leadership to project teams
- Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory and contractual requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in MEP / Building Services delivery on large scale construction projects
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centre or other complex projects highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation and commissioning
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with BIM / digital engineering desirable
- CIBSE, IMechE or equivalent professional membership desirable
Experience with GMP, cleanrooms, commissioning or regulated environments would be an advantage.
