Mechanical Engineer - 12 Months - Hybrid

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking five skilled professionals to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to developing innovative hardware solutions. This role offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines in a high-tech, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the R&D of mechanical designs, simulations, and testing
• Support the development and realization of complex hardware products
• Work closely with system, electrical, and EMC engineers as well as production technologists
• Engage in concept development, detailed mechanical construction, or program coordination
• Drive system performance while balancing cost-effectiveness
• Ensure collaboration in a multidisciplinary and often international project setting

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong proficiency with CAD tools (preferably Pro-Engineer) and PDM systems (ideally Windchill/PdmLink)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Creo (version 8 preferred)
• Open-minded, creative problem-solving skills with cross-disciplinary thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
• Flexibility to travel and work externally when required
• Available at least 3 days per week on-site in Hengelo
