Mechanical Engineer - BMS Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Cork with travel to sites as required, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Engineering Management team as a Mechanical Engineer, supporting the delivery of our projects across a wide variety of sectors. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of mechanical and BMS systems from design through commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution. Your day will include: Coordinate mechanical and BMS design activities across all project phases. Manage BMS procurement, subcontractors, commissioning, and system handover. Review technical submissions, drawings, RFIs, and operational documentation. Support installation, QA inspections, system walkdowns, and commissioning activities. Monitor project schedules, risks, and progress to support successful delivery. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure quality and HSE compliance. About You Strong experience in mechanical engineering and construction project delivery. Good knowledge of HVAC, piping systems, and BMS design, installation, and commissioning. Experience with major BMS platforms such as Trend, Schneider, and Tridium desirable.
