Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract Location: North West Potential Long-Term Contract Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading international manufacturer of commercial vehicles. This contract role offers the chance to work on cutting edge vehicle technologies within a modern, supportive engineering environment.

Roc Search is partnering with this highly recognised organisation to recruit an experienced design engineer to support specialist vehicle projects, with a strong focus on delivering right first time mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high quality mechanical designs to support multiple projects across the site.
• Develop and install brake system components.
• Deliver mechanical designs within vehicle assembly trees.
• Support both diesel and electric vehicle platforms.
• Contribute to the electrification of heavy commercial vehicles.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience using Creo CAD.
• Background in automotive engineering or a related industry.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in new and emerging vehicle technologies.
