Role: Mechanical Building Services Manager - Commercial Offices project.

Salary/Duration: c£425-475 a day - 3 months+ - West London - site based role.

Employer: Working for a tier 1 main Contractor specialising in providing construction, services and property management expertise in Building and Civil Engineering, Property Development, and Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical services on a new build commercial project.
• Coordinate and manage Mechanical services installations on site as part of a team, reporting to a Lead MEP Manager.
• Coordinate the installation of Mechanical services and manage the on-site M&E team to monitor progress of M&E sub-contractors.
• Contribute to design coordination with M&E design input; understanding of design and influence in M&E design coordination is advantageous.
• Produce and implement commissioning, testing and inspection documentation prepared for handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum HND level in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience within the MEP contracting arena with a tier one M&E sub-contractor or as a Building Services Manager in a main contracting environment.
• Mechanical background with a good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical services (advantageous).
