An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer at Meadows & Co, a reputable law firm based in Weybridge. Main purpose of the job

Our firm is expanding, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Commercial Property department.

You will be responsible for assisting the team with a high-volume caseload, dealing directly with client queries daily, and supporting on all matters on a day-to-day basis. Matters often involve prestigious housebuilders and investors with large portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial property contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and support various commercial property transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, providing clear and concise legal advice.
  • Assist in managing property portfolios, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
  • Support senior lawyers in preparing legal documents and reports.
  • Attend client meetings and help develop client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Person Specification
  • Strong academic background with a law degree (LLB or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in commercial property law is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work with high attention to detail and manage large workloads efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and provide excellent client care.
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to meet unexpected demands, including prioritizing work under pressure.
