Responsibilities
  • Tackle important strategic opportunities and challenges facing American Express
  • Work primarily on growth strategy projects to drive long-term success and innovation
  • Own project workstreams end-to-end, including scoping and structuring problems
  • Conduct complex analyses and research
  • Create presentations and present recommendations to senior leaders
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the enterprise, including C-suite executives
  • Drive strategic initiatives that enhance American Express's leadership position
  • Establish trusted thought-partner relationships with business partners
Requirements
  • MBA degree
  • 2-3+ years of full-time professional experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to advise executive leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization, work planning, and execution discipline
  • Proficiency with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate effectively in a team
  • Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations
