Maths tutor - Alternative provision

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an alternative provision in Nottingham who are looking to secure a Maths tutor on a temp to perm, full time basis.
5 days per week, 39 weeks per year. 8:30-4:30 (including unpaid break of 30 minutes)
£25,000-£30,000 per year
The role will include high-quality teaching and learning in Maths, tailored to the needs of students aged 11-16.
Applicants should have good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting. A passion for working with pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is an essential quality for this challenging but rewarding role.
The ideal Maths tutor will have:
- Previous experience as a Maths tutor or teacher
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students
Strong knowledge of different approaches to teaching Maths.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver effective instruction.
