Job Description
Maths Teacher - Birley Academy, Sheffield 
The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Maths Teacher on a flexible supply basis.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who is confident delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4.
The role includes- Delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
- Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback
- Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
- Working collaboratively with department colleagues and wider school staff
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
