Maths Teacher

Position Overview

ECT, in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, is seeking a Maths teacher for a secondary school on the west side of Birmingham. This full time role starts as soon as possible and continues until April 2027. It is a maternity cover position but may also suit a long term appointment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
• Set high expectations and help students build confidence alongside mathematical understanding.
• Maintain strong classroom management and positive relationships with students.

Key Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to helping all students achieve their potential
