Overview

The Maths Teacher role in Berwick-upon-Tweed involves teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils, with KS5 instruction desirable. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress, and foster a positive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues to develop the curriculum is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 desirable but not essential).
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
• Assess and track student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.

Compensation

Full time position offering a daily salary between £162.31 and £251.71, linked to your current teacher pay scale.
