Maths Teacher

Position Summary

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a very good secondary school based just outside Derby in Denby. The college is a wonderful place to work with excellent connections and support available.

The school is looking to take on a Mathematics Teacher on a part time basis to cover 4 days a week for the whole of the summer term. There are plenty of gaps between lessons to prepare and even take a break. This role will include preparation for GCSE's and will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver GCSE Mathematics lessons for the summer term, manage classroom activities, support student learning, and implement the approved schemes of learning.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcomed) or other teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths at GCSE
