We're recruiting on behalf of a leading college for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons across Functional Skills, GCSE and/or A Level. Whether you're an experienced lecturer or a qualified teacher with a passion for post-16 education, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Maths Lecturer, you'll inspire students to achieve their full potential by delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, develop mathematical understanding and prepare learners for further study or employment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering Maths across Functional Skills, GCSE and/or A Level.

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons.

  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

  • Supporting learners to achieve outstanding outcomes.

  • Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the student experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching Maths within a Further Education or College setting.

  • Ability to teach one or more of the following:

    • Functional Skills Maths

    • GCSE Maths

    • A Level Maths

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.

  • A relevant Maths qualification.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A genuine passion for helping learners succeed.
