About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Lecturer to deliver high quality teaching and inspire learners to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons across relevant levels (e.g., GCSE, A Level, or equivalent)
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements
  • Support students in achieving academic goals and improving confidence in mathematics
  • Provide additional support through tutorials, revision sessions, and intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) - desirable/essential depending on role
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a school, college, or higher education setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching maths
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Desirable Skills
  • Experience teaching Functional Skills, GCSE, or A Level Maths
  • Familiarity with different teaching methods to support diverse learners
  • Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning
  • Experience supporting students with additional learning needs
