Maths & Science Graduate Trainee Teacher
Kent (TN2)
Salary: £28,000
Start Date: September 2026

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Kent for ambitious and motivated Maths and Science graduates looking to begin a rewarding career in teaching through a structured Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Programme.

This opportunity offers a clear pathway towards gaining a PGCE, followed by Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), while developing practical classroom experience within a supportive and academically successful school environment.

The Role

As a Graduate Trainee Teacher, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across the Maths or Science department

  • Gain valuable classroom experience from the start of the programme

  • Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors

  • Receive ongoing training and professional development

  • Progress towards gaining your PGCE and QTS

  • Build the foundations for a successful long-term career in secondary education

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Maths, Science, or a related subject field

  • Have achieved A-C grades at both GCSE and A-Level

  • Have completed all academic qualifications within the UK

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK

  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and working with young people

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
