Material Handler

CREGG are delighted to be working with our distribution client in hiring a Material Handler, for their client site in Shannon, Co-Clare.

This Material handler will have full responsibility for all materials onsite, as well as flexibility to travel to other client sites.

Salary -€33'000 - €35'000 depending on experience
Hours -8.00 to 16.00 Mon - Fri

Candidates must be over 25

Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming deliveries
• Check in and put away received material
• Pick sales orders and pack for transport
• Transport material using client vehicles to customer sites in Oranmore & Shannon.
• Replenish kanban locations at customer site.
• Operate pallet trucks and forklifts to move material
• Perform cycle counts
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Respond to customer queries and provide customer service as required
• Represent client with professionalism and courtesy at all times

Requirements:

• Warehouse experiences is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Full driving license
• General IT literacy is required
• Must be able to integrate with a team but also to work unsupervised and manage one's own schedule
• Flexibility is expected but will also be replicated by client.
