Master Data Manager
Established in 1992, Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer in the Republic of Ireland, the UK and the US, operating over 600 sites and employing more than 16,000 people. We are in a rapid growth phase and need a Master Data Manager to join our Data & Applications team and report to the Head of Data & Applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and evolve Master Data Management services in partnership with key business stakeholders.
- Manage the internal ticketing system and report metrics and KPIs to senior management and the wider business.
- Manage the team's workload and priorities and provide guidance and training to colleagues to ensure proficiency on the system.
- Conduct periodic reviews of data entry in all EPOS systems and SAP to ensure data quality is at an appropriate standard.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their knowledge base and improve soft skills.
- Oversee and be involved in project management of multiple initiatives within the business.
- Work collaboratively with other functions (Finance, Operations, Marketing, external partners) to resolve data-related issues and meet objectives.
- Ensure data is entered and maintained across relevant systems to a high level of accuracy within business SLA's.
- Assist the team with manual entry and maintenance of business critical data across multiple systems, consistently and accurately.
Qualifications, experience & skills:
- Demonstrable Master Data Management experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple IT systems.
- Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines to achieve business service level agreements.
- Analytical capability to interpret and challenge data and identify inaccuracies or incompleteness.
- Collaborative attitude in working with colleagues both onshore and offshore.
- Shows initiative, self confidence, adaptability, and ability to cope with changing priorities.
- Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.
- Previous experience with SAP or POS systems in a data management role is an advantage.
- Detail oriented with awareness of broader impacts of data inaccuracies.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Committed and self motivated, capable of adapting to a fast moving environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
