Arcon Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Marketing Manager for a successful retail outlet based in Ballina, Co. Mayo.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and commercially focused marketing professional to lead the company's marketing activities, strengthen its local presence and increase both in-store and online sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for the business.
- Create marketing campaigns to increase footfall, customer engagement and retail sales.
- Manage the company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn where appropriate.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal promotions, product launches and in-store events.
- Produce engaging content for social media, email campaigns and the company website.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns across Google and social media platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Support the continued development of the company's e-commerce activities.
- Maintain accurate and engaging website content and product information.
- Manage customer email marketing and loyalty campaigns.
- Ensure consistent branding across online, in-store and printed marketing materials.
- Coordinate photography, video content, signage and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the retail and sales teams to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, printers and media providers.
- Monitor competitor activity, consumer trends and developments within the retail sector.
- Manage the marketing budget and report on return on investment.
- Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing or retail marketing position.
- A qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of social media, digital advertising and content creation.
- Experience creating campaigns that support retail sales and customer engagement.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and email marketing would be beneficial.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project-management abilities.
- Creative, commercially aware and comfortable generating new ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
- Capable of working independently while collaborating with the wider retail team.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the marketing function within an established retail business. The successful candidate will have the freedom to develop creative campaigns and play an important role in the company's continued growth.
The position is based in Ballina and may also suit candidates commuting from Castlebar, Foxford, Killala, Crossmolina, Swinford, Charlestown, Belmullet, Westport and surrounding areas of County Mayo.
