The role of Marketing Lead in the Willis Research Network is to support the promotion of the research services, projects and academic partnerships.
In this position you will be responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of marketing activities across Willis Research Network (WRN), which means working with the WRN team, business teams and marketing colleagues. Whilst the role is based in London, WTW's workstyle is flexible, to accommodate a blend of working from home and office attendance.

We are a small, but dynamic team with a global remit. You will be joining a fast-paced environment, where no day is the same which will give you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with multiple stakeholders across the globe. The Role:

Marketing Delivery

Key support to WRN leadership in the development and delivery of the marketing plan and all its elements and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets. Coordinate and manage with regional and global marketing colleagues including the CoE's (Communications, Design, PR, Digital and Research/Analytics) as required to deliver campaigns and programmes

  • Coordinate and manage activities including webcasts, face to face events, reports, research papers, podcasts, social media.

  • Liaise with CoE's to support the delivery of marketing activities

  • Evaluate marketing campaigns through analysis of digital data to ensure that the activity is helping WRN to achieve goals. Use the activity to help guide and improve future marketing initiatives

  • Manage the marketing mailing activity using our digital mailing tools

  • Liaise closely with relevant sales teams to ensure connectivity through all stages of marketing delivery

  • Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability

Relationships

  • Develop good working relationships and work closely with the WRN team, Willis Re and members of the global marketing team to effectively coordinate activities and ensure WRN are realising opportunities to leverage other marketing activities taking place

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key individuals within the Specialty marketing teams and businesses

Business Awareness

  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the WRN business as well as products, services and solutions across the wider Risk & Broking and Willis Re business

  • Understand the importance of global connectivity for growth of the global business teams and collaboration with industry initiatives

Other

  • Offer assistance and accept help from colleagues to accomplish marketing activities and priorities

  • Operate within WTW's agreed policies, procedures and core values, demonstrating a consistent and corporate approach

Qualifications

The Requirements:

  • Experience within professional or financial services or a B2B environment (ideally consultancy/insurance environment) is essential

  • Relevant marketing experience is essential

  • Social media experience helpful

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

  • Adaptable and quick learner with new tools, systems and processes

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritise work effectively

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to escalate issues or ask for help when required

  • Strong team player with good people skills and a proven track record of providing support to other team members and building collaborative relationships

  • Ability to work across geographies
