The marketing executive will play an integral part in the marketing team, responsible for planning, coordinating and executing marketing plans to ensure products reach the right people at the right time.

You will report to the Marketing Manager and have the opportunity to get involved in content marketing as well as building important and lasting media partnerships for the business.

On day one you'll be given a range of projects, a budget, and an objective. There are many opportunities for a creative individual who is looking for a challenge. The role is also the perfect opportunity to get a solid grounding in the fundamentals of B2B events marketing.

Profile of Candidate: The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (red brick university) and ideally have some previous B2B event marketing, be this an internship or short-term work experience. In addition, you will need excellent time and project management skills, strong communication and negotiation qualities and above all, an enthusiasm to coordinate the 'nuts and bolts of marketing'.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing the overall marketing campaigns for all products within the portfolios, including digital marketing, advertising, design, PR and media partnerships
  • Updating and monitoring campaign planners
  • Create marketing emails to drive visitor numbers, site traffic and ticket sales
  • Assist with the Platinum Buyer programme; encourage exhibitor nominations and liaise with nominated retailers
  • Create weekly newsletters for digital products
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to execute the brand social media strategy, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and building an online community
  • Plan, produce and edit digital creative content, overseeing the day to day running of all portfolio social media platforms
  • Ensure continuous interaction with followers (like/comment on posts, re-post stories)
  • Research and produce articles for content across the portfolio
  • Manage brand profiles on digital offerings
  • Ensure all marketing activity is consistent with brand guidelines
  • Manage distribution lists
  • Build and maintain a high level of industry knowledge and stay abreast of new trends

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits
