Salary: Grade 5 is £39,361- £43,104 per annum per annum (commensurate to experience) including London Weighting.

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a leading arts university with a dynamic community, is seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Marketing & Communications Officer to join our vibrant Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Communications & Press Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content that puts storytelling at its heart, is driven by insight and delivers strategic communications that elevate Central's profile across internal and external audiences, supporting efforts to recruit students, to fundraise and to drive our commercial portfolio.

The postholder will be expected to create and deliver engaging content including video, written and visual assets for digital, social and internal channels including email, website and intranet. You will use data and insight to shape clear, targeted communications strategies aligned with Central's new organisational strategy and work collaboratively across departments to support our student recruitment, fundraising and commercial initiatives through creative campaigns and storytelling ensuring messaging is inclusive, authentic and aligned with Central's values. You will champion brand awareness and engagement helping to grown Central's reputation as a world-leading institution for dramatic arts.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience of content creation across multiple formats, a strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, experience in using analytics to inform strategy and measure impact, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for the arts and education.
